The four appointment formats
One-on-one, group, collective and round robin: which to choose and how they behave.
What it is for
Pick the right format depending on the number of hosts and guests.
Before you start
Collective and round robin need at least two hosts (you and members added in Add team members (hosts)); round robin also needs the Team plan.
Step by step
- One-on-one: one host, one guest.
- Group: one host, several guests on the same slot; you set the Seats per slot (the slot stays open until the number is reached).
- Collective: several hosts present together; a slot is offered only if all are free.
- Round robin: the appointment is assigned in turn to the next free host (Round robin: spread appointments around).
- In Types, choose the format in the tiles or in the Format field, tick the Hosts (at least two) for collective and round robin.
Expected result
The page shows the format label (One-on-one, Group · N seats, Collective · N hosts, Round robin · N hosts).
Tips
- For a fixed-date event with a waiting list, use a session instead (Create a group session or webinar).
Common problems
- “Choose at least two hosts for a collective or round robin type (add members in Team).”
- Add members then tick them.
- “Round robin is included in the Team plan.”
- Change plan.
- “Your plan allows up to N people per slot.”
- Reduce the seats of a Group type.
