Unsubscribe from a provider’s news
The unsubscribe link in every campaign message: one confirmation, immediate effect.
What it is for
Respect clients’ choice (Law 25): no longer receiving news does not affect appointments already booked.
Before you start
A campaign message or newsletter containing the provider’s unsubscribe link.
Step by step
- Click the unsubscribe link in the message.
- The “Unsubscribe” page asks: “Stop receiving news from … at the address …?”
- Click Unsubscribe me.
Expected result
“Done: … will no longer receive news from … Your scheduled appointments do not change.” The client appears as “Unsubscribed” in Clients.
Tips
- Appointment confirmation and reminder emails are not “news”: they continue.
Common problems
- “Invalid link.”
- The link is incomplete or tampered with: use the link from a recent message.
