Serve your page on your own domain
Add rdv.mysite.ca, publish two DNS records and click Verify.
What it is for
Make your page appear on your own address, without Rendezvix in the address.
Before you start
Owner role. The domain limit depends on the plan (Free: 0). Access to your domain’s DNS zone.
Step by step
- Click Settings › Domains.
- In Domain name, enter for example
rdv.mysite.ca, choose the Page shown (All my appointments or one type) and click Add. - With your registrar, add the two records shown: a TXT
_rendezvix.rdv.mysite.cawith the valuerendezvix-verify=…, and a CNAME (or A) to the target indicated. - Click Verify. The status changes from “Waiting for verification” to Active.
- Apply changes the page shown; Remove deletes the domain.
Expected result
The booking page responds on your domain.
Tips
- DNS propagation can take a few hours.
- The HTTPS certificate depends on the host (for example AutoSSL); the domain must point to the same server as Rendezvix.
Common problems
- “Invalid domain name (e.g. rdv.mysite.ca).”
- Enter a domain name, without https:// or a path.
- “This domain is already in use.”
- Another account uses it.
- “Domain limit reached for your plan.”
- Remove one or change plan.
- “TXT record not found (_rendezvix.…). DNS propagation can take a few hours.”
- The TXT is not published yet or was entered incorrectly.
- “The name does not point to … yet”
- The CNAME or A record is missing or incorrect.
- The domain is Active but the browser shows a certificate error.
- The HTTPS certificate is not issued on the host side: check with the host.
