Get started

Sign in and recover your password

Sign in, forgot password (link valid for 1 hour) and changing your password from Settings.

What it is for

Get into your workspace, regain access if you forgot your password, or change it as a precaution.

Before you start

The email used at sign-up. Collaborators with a “Manager” or “View only” access sign in in the same place, with the email the owner gave them.

Step by step

  1. Open the sign-in page, enter your Email and Password, then click Sign in.
  2. Forgot your password: click Forgot your password?, enter your email and click Send the link.
  3. Open the email “Reset your Rendezvix password” and click the link (valid for 1 hour).
  4. Enter a New password (10 characters minimum) and click Save: you go back to sign-in with “Password changed. Sign in.”.
  5. To change your password while signed in: Settings › Profile tab › “Password” section: Current password, New (10 characters min.), then Change.

Expected result

You are signed in; the session stays open as long as you use it (it expires after 7 days of inactivity). The Sign out button at the top right ends the session.

Tips

  • The message after “Send the link” is always “If an account exists with this email, a link has just been sent.”: it does not reveal whether the address exists.
  • A new link cancels the previous one.

Common problems

“Incorrect email or password.”
Check capitalization and the address. After 8 failed attempts, sign-in is blocked for 15 minutes (“Too many attempts. Try again in 15 minutes.”).
The reset email does not arrive.
Check your spam folder, wait a few minutes and make sure the address you entered is the account’s. There is a limit of 5 requests per IP address per 15 minutes.
“This link has expired. Request a new one.”
The link lasts 1 hour and works only once: use Forgot your password? again.
I keep getting signed out.
The session expires after 7 days without use; otherwise check that your browser accepts cookies.
