Signed outgoing webhooks

Rendezvix sends a signed JSON message to your address on every event, with automatic retries.

What it is for

React in real time to appointments in your own tools.

Before you start

Owner role, Starter plan or higher. An https:// address that responds 2xx.

Step by step

  1. Click Settings › Connections, open Outgoing webhooks.
  2. Enter the Address (https://…), tick the events you want (Appointment confirmed, Payment received, Appointment rescheduled, Appointment cancelled, Contact subscribed, Contact unsubscribed) and click Add webhook.
  3. Note the Secret shown (whsec_…): it is used to verify the X-Rendezvix-Signature: t=…,v1=HMAC-SHA256(secret, "t.body") header.
  4. Click Send a test: a “Test” event (ping) is sent.
  5. Pause / Reactivate suspends or resumes; Delete removes the webhook.

Expected result

Each event is sent; the list shows the last three sends (date, event, status, code) and the last code received. The message also contains suggested tags (rdv, rdv-<type>).

Tips

  • Retries on failure: after 1 min, 5 min, 30 min, 2 h then 12 h; after that the send is abandoned (status “dead”).
  • Completed sends are purged after 30 days.

Common problems

“Invalid address: it must start with https://.”
Only https addresses are accepted.
“Limit reached for your plan.”
Delete a webhook or a key, or change plan.
Last code 4xx/5xx.
Your server refuses: check the address, the signature and that the response is 2xx.
No sends at all.
The webhook is “Paused”, or the scheduled task is not running (The scheduled task (cron) and what depends on it).
