Client side: book, pay, manage
Pay for your appointment (client side)
Card, PayPal, mobile money or manual payment: choose the method, pay, and what happens if payment is not made.
What it is for
Explain the payment steps to the client and why a booking stays “pending”.
Before you start
A paid appointment and at least one active payment method with the provider.
Step by step
- At the end of the form, click Continue to payment.
- If there are several methods, the “Choose how to pay” page lists them; click your choice. Some show an approximate amount in the payment provider’s currency.
- Pay on the provider’s secure page (Stripe, PayPal, Orange Money, etc.). Rendezvix neither sees nor keeps your payment information.
- You return to “Your appointment”: “Payment received: your appointment is confirmed.”
- Manual payment: the page shows the provider’s instructions (“Payment by …”). The appointment stays “Awaiting payment” until the provider confirms receipt.
Expected result
The appointment becomes “Confirmed” and a confirmation email is sent. If it stays “Awaiting payment”, the payment is not confirmed.
Tips
- The spot is held for 30 minutes for an online payment (server default) and 72 hours for a manual payment.
- The Pay now button on the “Your appointment” page restarts the payment.
Common problems
- “Your payment is being confirmed. Reload this page in a moment.”
- The payment provider has not confirmed yet; reload after a few moments.
- “Payment is not available at the moment.”
- The provider no longer has an active payment method.
- The appointment became “Expired”.
- Payment was not made in time; book again.
- I paid but the appointment is “Pending”.
- See “Awaiting payment” booking: what to check?; the client keeps the payment provider’s receipt.
