Create and manage API keys
An rk_… key gives access to your account’s API: copy it when created, revocable at any time.
What it is for
Let another tool (or a developer) read your appointments, book or cancel on your behalf, without sharing your password.
Before you start
Owner role. Starter plan or higher (webhooks and the API are not included in the Free plan, except for an account created by another tool such as Dossilia).
Step by step
- Click Settings › Connections, open API and keys.
- Enter a Key name (for example “Fluxia”) then click Create an API key.
- Immediately copy the key shown in the yellow box: it will never be shown again.
- Use it in the
Authorization: Bearer rk_…header (see API routes (cheat sheet)). - To cut off access: Revoke next to the key. The table shows “used” with the date, or “never used”.
Expected result
The key appears with its prefix (rk_xxxxxx…) and its last-use date.
Tips
- One key per tool: if one is compromised, revoke only that one.
- Keys count toward the plan’s “Webhooks and API keys” limit.
- Only a hash of the key is kept: nobody, support included, can read it again.
Common problems
- API response 401.
- The key is wrong, revoked or the account is suspended.
- Response 402 “Subscription expired: renew it in Rendezvix.”
- The account’s subscription has ended (Subscription states: trial, active, grace period, suspended).
- Response 403 “The API is not included in this plan.”
- Free plan: change plan.
- Response 429 “Too many requests.”
- Limit of 300 requests per IP address per 15 minutes.
- I lost the key.
- Revoke it and create a new one.
